Our first home game was against United FC, a team which in terms of league standing looks pretty strong and had actually handed a 7-1 trashing to Rezzo, the team which beat us in our last game.

Lineup was as follows:

We started the game pretty well with some good play as early as the 2nd minute which some good triangular passing between Reto,Yongbin and Hanafi which almost led to an opening. That was before United moved into gear. 2 minutes after our good move, United hit the bar from an offside position.

This seem to spur them on as they then went on to score 2 goals in succession. The first was in the 9th minute from a header off a corner and then quickly in the 11th, a direct freekick going in to the left of our
goalie Zac. We didn't take long to reply and Yongbin scored in the 12th minute courtesy of a pass from Lee. United FC then took another 2 minutes to regain their 2 goal cushion with yet another header from another
corner. At this rate, we were expecting a goal rush. Thankfully(or rather not) the floodgates did not open and it took another 20 minutes before we pulled another one back once again from Yongbin and once again
from Lee(or was it Hanafi). Somehow it was a half of  the number 2 as United, took another 2 minutes to keep their 2 goal lead just before halftime although this was a scrappy goal to give away - their scorer
having had 2 bites at the cherry and 2 headers at that.   No subs for us at halftime as the team seemed alright and we figured that apart from the fourth goal the rest were set pieces. As the game drew on, Yongbin completed his hat-trick and it was game on..until 5 minutes later in the 70th minute when a failure to clear the ball led to a penalty in which they duly converted. By then Michael had came in at leftback for Azman and Richard for Reto. These subs were followed by Adnan replacing Farhad and Ken replacing Yongbin. Ken brought some life into our attack but no goals came. In the 87th minute, another failure by to clear the ball led to the United's sixth goal - another bad goal to give away.Eric completed the
subs as he came on for Peh in the dying minutes.   United showed why they are called that. Their teamwork showed as well as their ability to capitalize on the set-pieces. What impressed though was that the game was
played in fairly clean manner. Well done to both teams.

The team's second game and was the confident. Overconfident perhaps. As we prepared to get on the field we talked about taking this game, about this team not winning,about how we noticed from the jerseys that this was going to be England vs Sweden. Was Robinson playing in goal today? We sure hope he does....

The game started rathered brightly especially with one of their players in bright orange. The first chance of the game fell to us as Farhad headed over the goal from close range.The closest chance fell to Rezzo as they
hit the crossbar.That seemed to joint us into action as Yong Bin dribbled past 2 players and took a shot. Hanafi then banged one over the goal with his freekick.

We were soon to lead the game as Hanafi scored from the spot after Clarence was brought down very much like how Eboue was brought down by Downing during the Boro game.

Just as the shot against the bar jointed us, the goal jointed them and Rezzo took only 6mins to equalise as a goal was headed in.John then made a save in the 37th min to keep things at 1-1 till half time.3 subs were made as Adnan replaced Azman at LB,Zac taking over goal from John and Al replacing Lee at midfield.

In the 54th min, Rez took the lead as one of their players caught a clearance from the corner and banged one in.It was quite a bad goal to concede as it was a case whereby the player was totally left unmarked. We
never really recovered from that and this string of substitution did not help the cause:

In between it all,Rezzo scored another goal - a lob over Zac.The player celebrated as if he had meant it but well......At the end of the day, 3 - 1 to Rezzo United. In the end I guess they wanted it more than us.No
disrespect to them but it could be because they were searching for their first win.But well done to them really.
